The Peoria Public Schools Foundation receives and filters requests for needs directly from schools and classrooms. Often times, a school's parent/teacher organization is able to assist with needs that might arise, however these groups also have many other projects and priorities they must first address.

There are also times where a need can easily be filled from the outside community. Requests range from helping needy students and families purchase school uniforms or winter clothing, to assisting in the purchase of classroom technologies and special learning materials.
