Academic Enrichment & Recognition

Peoria Public Schools Foundation donors often have a specific area they desire to support or enrich. Maybe a construction company would like to see more opportunities for students learning about the trades, or in the case of a former PPS student's family, they wanted to honor the late student by showing current students why she loved math.

That desire led to not only a long-lasting student scholarship, but also an event that introduced middle school students to careers that use math on a daily basis, such as real estate, culinary and medicine.
