About the Foundation

The Peoria Public Schools Foundation resolves to help build strong schools and make the Peoria community stronger.

The Peoria Public Schools Foundation is an independent, community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to sustaining and extending excellence in Peoria Public Schools. The Foundation raises private dollars and secures grants to support educational initiatives that enhance and supplement public education and positively impact student achievement. The Foundation works closely with the school district to help fulfill its mission but is a separate entity with its own governing Board of Directors. The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and donations to it are tax deductible as allowed by law.
